But this was not the only reason why Richard took away the judges’ breath. They were very fascinated about the vision behind our company and its international growth potential.

With Sicher Bezahlen, buyers and sellers can easily and securely trade on Germany's largest online marketplace as they are optimally protected. The solution is powered by Escrow technology, allowing Online Payment Platform to hold the payment in a third-party money account until both parties have fulfilled their obligation. For eBay Kleinanzeigen, Sicher Bezahlen is an important asset to increase trust in the platform and facilitate online payments for its tens of millions of users.

So far, we facilitate 170 marketplaces and platforms in Europe, but at the same time we still have a massive market to conquer. At the start of our partnership with eBay Kleinanzeigen, we also opened our new office location in Germany.
