Mike Palm and Victor Menger added to the management board of Online Payment Platform

Online Payment Platform, a specialised payment service provider for platforms and marketplaces, appointed two new directors to its team. Mike Palm (37) has now been promoted to CTO and Victor Menger (30) as COO. In their new roles, Palm and Menger will particularly focus on facilitating and supporting the growth of Online Payment Platform in the Netherlands and internationally.

By adding two board member, CEO Maurice Jongmans and founder Richard Straver want to divide the tasks and responsibilities within the board more broadly. This will allow for a better response to the demands of a fast-growing organization. Both Menger and Palm come from their own ranks. Palm, for example, has been working as an IT and security expert at Online Payment Platform for seven years. Menger started as an intern ten years ago and has progressed through the development team to the role of COO.

"During their careers at Online Payment Platform, Mike and Victor have been closely involved in our transition from startup to scale-up. They know the organization inside and out," Jongmans stated. "Online Payment Platform has grown rapidly in recent years. We have also taken our first steps across the border by opening offices in Belgium and Germany and with new clients such as 2dehands and eBay Kleinanzeigen. With the appointment of Mike and Victor as CTO and COO respectively, we have a solid foundation from which we can further expand our business."

For the facilitation of payments, Online Payment Platform has a license from De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB) as a Payment Service Provider. This also means that the new directors had to be assessed and approved by DNB. This legal requirement has officially been met. The four-member board of Online Payment Platform can now focus fully on exploiting the opportunities that exist nationally and internationally to expand its position as a leading payment service provider.
