Online Payment Platform appoints Gabriel Dapiaggi as Sales Manager DACH
Online Payment Platform (OPP), a specialized payment service provider for platforms and marketplaces, has appointed Gabriel Dapiaggi as Sales Manager for the DACH region. Dapiaggi will be responsible for expanding OPP's sales activities in this market. Online Payment Platform is experiencing rapid growth and recently announced that Worldline is taking a share stake in the company. Dapiaggi's addition to the team should help OPP accelerate its growth ambitions.
Dapiaggi has a strong track record in sales, having built an impressive career in both South America and Germany. Thanks to various positions at Stubhub (formerly part of eBay) and Meplato, he also has a broad experience in developing marketplaces and platforms and bringing buyers and sellers together in the most optimal way. At OPP, he will initially focus on the DACH region, but thanks to his diverse language skills (German, English, Portuguese, Spanish and Italian) and network, Dapiaggi can also play a role in the expansion to other European countries.
"Fintech is a fast-growing sector and OPP's specialism in payments for platforms and marketplaces is unique," says Dapiaggi. "What OPP has achieved to this point is impressive, but when you consider the huge potential of this market, we are only at the beginning. I look forward to working with the team to increase our market share in the DACH region and contribute to OPP's global success."
Richard Straver, founder of OPP: "Gabriel is a driven sales professional with a large international network. He also has extensive knowledge and experience with marketplaces and platforms, knows the specific dynamics and what challenges this brings in terms of payments. Given our ambitions, this is of great value. I look forward to expanding our activities together in the DACH region."
