OPP expands leadership team by appointing John Carr as Chief Risk Officer

Organization ramps up for rapid growth by also hiring Sales Manager in France

Online Payment Platform (OPP), a specialized payment provider for platforms and marketplaces, is expanding its leadership team by appointing John Carr as CRO. Also, OPP’s is extending its team in France with Rémi Bliah who will be leading sales for OPP in France. Expanding the team with these seasoned, senior professionals follows Worldline's investment in OPP last year and will be an important contribution to leveraging the opportunities in the fast-growing platform industry and the realization of OPP's (international) ambitions.

John Carr is a true risk and compliance veteran. He’s gained a wealth of experience and built an impressive career as Chief Risk Officer at various organizations like DNA Payments Group, Habito and 123Send. As CRO at OPP, Carr will be responsible for strengthening OPP’s policies and procedures to minimize and manage operational risks.

Expansion in France
Rémi Bliah is the first commercial team member of OPP in France. His activities will focus on expanding the customer base in the region in close collaboration with the Worldline team in France. Bliah has a strong track record in sales at various organizations. As a former key account manager at Catawiki he knows all about the specific needs of platforms and marketplaces and is very aware of the fact that payments are an essential part of the experience for buyers and sellers.
