Online Payment Platform wins EntrepreneurialAward Haaglanden 2016

In the Grand Hotel Amrâth Kurhaus in Scheveningen, The Hague, the final of the EntrepreneurialAward Haaglanden 2016 took place on Wednesday the 12^th of November 2015. 

An entrepreneurial case competition with stimulation of entrepreneurship at the center of interest. For the past months, the contestants of the prize have been questioned, evaluated and researched on various subjects by expert judges. Richard Straver of Online Payment Platform in Delft, has been unanimously chosen by the jury as winner of the EntrepreneurialAward Haaglanden 2016.  

Chairman of the jury Hans Biesheuvel: “Straver is a passionate 'new style' entrepreneur who responds lightning-fast to technological and business developments. He will not let misfortune drive him back and he is not afraid to change his course. With his motivated and sometimes philosophic approach, he is an inspiration in his team.”

Roel van der Beek, president of Foundation EntrepreneurialAward Haaglanden, praises the level of participating companies: “We have seen four wonderful companies in the final this year. With real entrepreneurs in charge. It is interesting and educational to gain insight in these companies during this competition. That is also what this competition is designed for.”
