30 hours of hacking results in iDEAL payments for Exact invoices

Before and during the Exact Live event at the Jaarbeurs located in Utrecht, 11 teams were working hard in the cold hall to develop new innovative applications on Exact Online for 30 hours long!

In a collaboration with developers from Trancon (partner of Exact) and implementation experts from Online Payment Platform, BetaalFactuur.nu was established under the teamname Tranconian Devils, it provides a solution that allows invoices to be sent from Exact Online by an iDEAL payment link. 


With the new possibilities of Exact integrated Services, the team could send the invoices for users by means of a payment link. Frank van den Hoek (Trancon): “Among users of Exact, there is a high demand regarding a solution faster and quicker online payments. By being able to fully focus on this hackaton, together with Online payment Platform we were able to realize this; during the presentation, the public response was overwhelming; at that moment we were convinced that we created a good product. The first users are ready to register.”

The various submissions were judged by a panel on, amongst others, innovation, product functionality and presentation. After a thrilling race, Betaalfactuur.nu was rewarded by a silver medal. Richard Straver (Online Payment Platform) “In terms of world shocking innovation, we might have abandoned a couple of points, but the outcome is a functional product requested by the user; Betaalfactuur.nu is going to boost the use of Invoices in Exact. We are very proud of that!”

Betaalfactuur.nu is making use of the new possibilities of Integrated Services of Exact. These possibilities are available at the beginning of 2018 and at that time Betaalfactuur.nu will become available in the Exact Online App Center.
